Lunch at School

The Lunch Program at our school is operated through the cooperative efforts of the school and the Parent Council. All students beyond kindergarten can register in the program. Details on costs are provided on the registration form which is available at the office.

Students eat lunch from 12:00 to 12:25 and play outdoors from 12:30 to 1:00, or attend sponsored activities (clubs, intra-murals, etc.).

Students staying for lunch are asked to:

1. Stay on school grounds (unless a dated, signed note from a parent is available).

2. Eat lunch at own desk until dismissed.

3. Use proper table manners.

4. Leave classroom only with permission from supervisor.

5. Use inside speaking voice.

6. Eat own food only.

7. Eat lunch indoors only.

8. Clean up by 12:25pm (including lunch kits, desk, garbage and recyclables).

9. Get dressed quickly and quietly to go outside.

10. Go to the washroom before going outside.

11. Respect others.

12. Respect school and school’s property.

A reminder – Failure to follow the rules set out will result in the loss of lunch privileges.
