Enrichment Activities

École Van Walleghem School continues to develop its tradition of excellence in meeting the needs of all students.

We actively seek out students’ gifts and other opportunities to challenge and extend their learning.

How do we do this?
Classroom teachers and support staff work with students to discover areas of interest or exceptional ability. The teachers of the gifted, along with the classroom teacher, then develop activities, or extensions that support these areas. Some of this work is accomplished through in-class enrichment. Other areas are more effectively managed through individual and group activities outside the classroom.
